Welcoming 2015

Hello everyone,

Today begins the countdown towards the year of 2015.

2014 has a lot of ups and down for me, my family and my beloved country, Malaysia. Malaysia is an Asian country if in case no one knows. :P

Malaysia was hit by a terrible news on the MH370 which is a Malaysian Airliner. 2014, a terrible, horrible year for Malaysia. Let us choose to make every sadness and all the gloomy days, as a reason for a rainbow to appear. We can’t direct the wind but we an adjust our sail. Stay strong Malaysians. As I was saying, Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing lost on the 8th March 2014. The news shocked the whole world. It was devastating. Till now there is no any news on the flight MH370. It had 227 passengers and 12 crews on board. There were many speculation on the above said MH370. Till to date, nothing was confirmed. It stays as a mystery.

Moving on, after few months, another Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 which was scheduled international passenger flight  from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur that crashed on the 17th July 2014. It was shot down , killing 283 passengers and 15 crews on board. It was a terrible year for Malaysia. Yet we stay strong and are proud of our heroes. More information can be read

Apart from that, another news hit us hard when another flight known as QZ8501 which belongs to Air Asia Indonesia disappeared from the radar. It was a moment of shatter for all the people around the world. All was hoping that it will come back. What happened was beyond the control and was announced crashed. The wreckage of the plane was found two days later in the Karimata Straits. The flight was en route from Surabaya to Singapore on the 28th December 2014 with 155 passengers and 7 crews.

We will never know on what were they feeling or what were their last words to their beloved. All we know is that their name made histories and they are our heroes that will last for centuries. We should never forget this black day of Malaysia.

Malaysia was tested again and again on many serious issues. Floods, Haze, land slides, tornados, coal mine explosions, fuel prices, highway crashes, construction site collapse, plane missing tragedy, plane crashes and what not. The worst ones is flood which hit the nation at Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu which is in the Eastcoast. In addition to the three most affected states, four other states in Peninsular Malaysia (Perak, Johor, Selangor and Perlis states) and one state in East Malaysia (Sabah) also are experiencing floods due to the heavy rainfalls (highest recorded at 255 mm). More than 160,000 people have been evacuated since the onset of the flooding and at least 10 people were confirmed dead.

I'm sure by looking at all these issues, there is no heart to celebrate the 2015 with full on power like how we used to in the previous year. 2014 has taught all of us to be strong in many ways. Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.

Everything happened was faith and has been written by God before we was born. Our death is written. We don't know if we were to die in a crash, accident, hospital and what not. All we can do now is stay strong and pray.

          STAY STRONG MALAYSIANS!

Not forgetting to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!

Thanks for tuning in everyone!
